Its story

It all started with a shape: that of the iconic Maison Rinceau clasp.

Reimagined through a play of curves and symmetry, it became the starting point for the design of the Gabriel Bag. The lines repeat, echo, and balance each other to gradually build its silhouette.

Gabriel takes its name from Ange-Jacques Gabriel, the French architect to whom we owe, among other things, the Petit Trianon at Versailles. His work inspires us with its sense of symmetry, rhythm, and proportion. A way of creating where each element finds its place within a whole, and where repetition gives birth to harmony.

At Maison Rinceau, this construction takes shape in leather. The lines become volumes, the curves define the bag's identity, and our signature clasp is transformed into a true architectural element. A detail found even in the design of its short strap.
